The read option is one of if not the most common play in the spread offense arsenal. It takes what the defense does and plays off it by doing the opposite and exploiting their weakness. The two main zone reads are the inside and outside zone read.
The bubble screen pass is another play of the spread offense. One of the receivers with open to the quarterback and bubble out behind his two other receivers who will block for him making it a “screen.”
